Dry, brittle and frizzy hair? Here are two hair saviours that will fix everything.
Iβve been dying my hair since I was about 12 years old including bleaching it a few times and itβs probably been just about every colour that there is, so 10 years on itβs safe to say that my hair isnβt in the best of conditions. I got asked if I would like to review these two goodies from Ogario London recently and of course I jumped at the chance to try something to tame my frizzy brittle hair. I donβt really buy much when it comes to hair products even though I probably should, but if I can find something that will improve the condition of my hair then Iβm all for it. Iβve been using these two products for the past couple of weeks and I have noticed such a change in my hair, itβs no longer as frizzy as it once was, it looks a lot healthier, and itβs just generally looking like itβs in a far better condition than it was before.
Ogario London Hydrate & Shine Shampoo* | Β£16.50
βDeveloped to soften, protect colour and put moisture back into dry hair.β
This shampoo has really helped my dry hair out, it feels so much nicer when Iβm styling it compared to before, Iβve also noticed a lot less breakage when Iβm brushing it. Iβm not even kidding, before whenever I pulled my hairbrush through my hair, I would literally be covered in hair breakage, but now thereβs hardly a hair in sight. My hair is quite long but is so thin because of all the damage and breakage and ever since I started using this shampoo, it actually feels like it has volume again! A little goes a long way so even though itβs on the pricier side for a shampoo, it will end up lasting a while. It does have a smell that reminds me of something quite medicinal, a bit like what head lice treatment smelled like when I was younger so thatβs not one of the better perks of this shampoo. But I can learn to get over that when I only wash my hair every other day and the benefits outweigh the small negative. Overall itβs a really good product and Iβm impressed!
Ogario London Hydrate & Shine Conditioner* | Β£18.50
βDeveloped to protect colour and leave hair feeling soft, smooth and glossy.β
A good conditioner to me is one that leaves my hair topper feeling silky smooth afterwards and makes brushing through wet hair an absolute breeze. This conditioner does exactly that and smells gorgeous. The scent of the conditioner is nothing like the shampoo, itβs made with Tamarind and Marshmallow which sounds quite heavenly and sweet, but I actually find it has a really citrus scent to it. I love it though, if youβve used the Ogario Restore & Shine Hair Masque, youβll find itβs a bit similar to that sort of scent. My hair is naturally wavy and frizzy and I wake up with it in a mess regardless of whether I have washed it or not. I find that this conditioner really helps to tame it and itβs not been as much of a mess when Iβve gone to straighten and style it on a morning. I donβt think Iβll ever find a product that means I can go without straightening my hair because it really is like a mane but itβs a miracle to find something that means I can spend less time straightening it and getting rid of all the frizz. I canβt use shampoo without conditioner as my hair is very prone to breakage, so this makes it the perfect duo!Iβve tried three different products from Ogario now and Iβve been impressed with them all. Like I said, I donβt really spend money on hair products but itβs been so lovely to actually try some out and find that theyβve helped the condition of my hair loads. I really think these are worth the cost if your hair is in a very unhealthy state like mine used to be.
Another great product, especially for those with young families is this head lice treatment. Nothing worse than when your littles bring home nasty nits from school, and this one is great.
If you have any other recommendations for products that might help my hair out, please let me know! π
