A few skincare treats that I’ve been loving during the colder weather plus a couple of Lush Christmas goodies…
Dry skin is a bit of a nightmare during Autumn & Winter and there’s nothing quite like applying some skincare treats to give it back some moisture. I’m trying to get myself into a better skincare routine now that I’m heading into the middle of my twenties and there’s been a few products that I’ve been using on the daily that I’m really loving. I also picked up a couple of Christmas goodies from Lush that I absolutely adore and want an unlimited stash of!
Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado | £20.00
I placed my first Kiehl’s order not long ago and I wasn’t sure what I wanted to try but I decided to pick this up because I’ve been suffering with awful dark under eye circles plus dryness. I apply this once or twice a day if I remember and it’s done wonders for the dryness! When applying my under eye concealer, I’ve noticed such a difference in how it applies, it’s so much smoother now and doesn’t go cakey after I powder. Definitely going to be repurchasing this little gem.
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream | £24.00
When this arrived, I wasn’t too sure about how small the jar was but you get a lot more product than you think. A little bit of this goes a long way and it adds so much moisture back into my dry skin, it’s the best moisturiser that I’ve used. I probably wouldn’t have touched this when I had extremely oily skin before but these days I just get a little oily and this cream moisturises my dryness without exaggerating my oiliness in the ol’ T-Zone area. It’s fab and I can see why it’s so popular!
Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream | £29.75
This is the moisturiser that I use on a night so that I can save my Kiehl’s cream for the morning and I really really love this. I’ve been using this one longer than my Ultra Facial Cream and even before I started using that, I noticed such a difference in my skin. It really contributes to eliminating all of the dry areas on my face plus it smells sooooo good. It feels like such a treat when I apply this after my bath.
Cellex-C Hydra 5 B Complex | £44.00
I probably would never have purchased this product had Beauty Bay not sent me it to try out, but I’ve almost run out of it because I’ve loved it that much. I apply this on a night before my Antipodes Night Cream and it’s basically an oil that hydrates the skin. It makes my skin so smooth and any dryness I have instantly disappears after applying this, it’s a little miracle worker!
Lush Butter Bear Bath Bomb | £1.95
This is one of the best products I’ve ever purchased from Lush, it is the cutest little bath bomb and it makes your skin feel so lovely and silky. What made me purchase it was how cute it is and that it smells like Vanilla which is probably my favourite scent. I honestly wish I’d picked up about 5 more of these, it’s so affordable for such a gorgeous product!
Lush Magic Wand Bubble Bar | £5.95
How pretty is this bubble bar wand?! I’m so obsessed with it. I just love how it looks from the pink star and the glitter to the gorgeous little silver bow with the bell on! I think Lush need to sell this all year round, seriously. It has the Snow Fairy scent which I absolutely love and it creates the best bubble baths. I love how many uses you get out of this too, I’ve already had three huge pink bubble baths with it and you can hardly tell I’ve used it at all. Lush bubble bars are definitely the best things ever.
