Three glowy Spring picks from Bobbi Brown…
I’m all about the glow now that it’s Spring and here are three glowy Spring picks from Bobbi Brown. Bobbi Brown is a brand I’ve come to really love recently and I’m loving adding more and more to my collection – next on my list is a foundation! For now though, I’ve gone for products that I’m actually in need of. Let’s find out what three goodies I chose and why…
Bobbi Brown Highlighting Powder
I don’t actually own that many highlights so it was inevitable that I was going to pick one up after seeing how gorgeous the Bobbi Brown ones are – just look at that shimmer brick! I went for the shade Moon Glow which is a beautiful champagne gold with warm undertones. I think it compliments my warm, yellow skin tone perfectly – with and without fake tan on. The formula is so creamy and pigmented and it blends like an absolute dream. I was so tempted to go for the shade Afternoon Glow too but as pretty as it was, I felt it was a bit too cool and pink toned for my skin! I’m not a huge fan of gold eyeshadows, but when it comes to highlight I always find they’re the most natural and flawless looking on my skin as I have such yellow undertones. If you’re looking for a new highlight I’d really recommend checking the BB ones out, they’re stunning!
Bobbi Brown Blush
The next thing I picked up was a Bobbi Brown Blush, it was such a hard choice but in the end I went for the shade Pretty Coral. It was a bit darker than what I was originally looking for, but I felt the pop of bright coral was the perfect shade for the Spring & Summer months. It’s a warm pink with a matte finish, so not glowy in the sense that it’s full of shimmer… however, I definitely feel glowing with it on! I can’t go without blush these days, I feel so dull without it and I love that rosy pop on the apples of my cheeks. I feel like blush really lights up your face and just leaves your skin looking glowing, with or without highlighter.
Bobbi Brown Luxe Rich Sparkle Eyeshadow
You may or may not already know that my all time fave eyeshadow is the BB sparkle stick in molten bronze… well, when browsing the Bobbi Brown counter – I stumbled upon these Luxe Rich Sparkle Eyeshadows and whilst in powder form rather than a cream eyeshadow stick, they’re just as glittery! Of course I fell in love and had to have one. I’m a sucker for a sparkly eyeshadow. I went for the shade Sun Flare which is the most beautiful copper enriched with gold sparkle. It looks stunning all on its own or on top of other shimmery shades to enhance them. It’s the ultimate Spring/Summer eyeshadow don’t you think?! I’m obsessed with wearing super glittery shadows on my lid in the summer months, despite mostly being hidden behind my sunglasses…
