A little travel bucket listβ¦
Having dipped my toe into a few new places this year, Iβve got the travel bug and Iβm dying to explore more, so hereβs a little travel bucket list! Iβm always looking for new inspiration of where to go to on Instagram and Pinterest and I thought that Iβd compile a little list together on the blog of some of the locations that look like theyβre worth adding to my bucket list!
Rhodes
Rhodes is at the top of my bucket list at the moment, Iβve seen a lot of fellow bloggers going to the beautiful greek island and it just looks so dreamy. That white sand and turquoise sea thoughβ¦ not to mention the cute little town! It just looks so gorgeous and instagrammable, I can definitely see myself booking a holiday here within the next couple of years.
Amsterdam
I think I always mention Amsterdam as a city I really want to visit, well that still hasnβt changed! The only thing thatβs put me off going so far is that I havenβt been able to find a good deal. Iβm quite tempted to get the boat over but I get sea sick so I think Iβd rather fly β either that or drive over there by going through the euro tunnel! It looks so utterly dreamy over there and has so many tasty looking places to eat.
Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is an absolutely stunning island in South Asia. All you have to do is google it to see hundreds of stunning views. Itβs an island full of history and we need to remember its beauty. Iβd love to explore the culture over there. You can find some gorgeous villas in Sri Lanka for very affordable prices. Villa Finder has over 1,500 villas in so many beautiful locations and they are constantly expanding to other destinations. They make your entire stay completely personal and discuss all of your needs, as well as organising everything from picking you up from the airport to a in-villa massage. For every booking, they plant a tree in Sumatra, Indonesia β so whilst you stay there, youβre also contributing to the environment which is incredible!
Barcelona
Iβm still yet to visit Barcelona and itβs one of those destinations thatβs not too far away (perfect for flying with a toddler in tow!) yet looks so, so stunning. I literally have no excuse for not having visited it yet, I looked into it not long ago but ended up going to Krakow instead. It has everything you need in a holiday, a city to explore but with the beach close by for relaxing and a warm, year-round weather.Β Although it can be a bit less predictable than the rest of Spain, so always check Barcelonaβs forecast! I feel like itβs the perfect little break away for us, I love exploring cities but Reuben is more into being able to run around the beach, so we get the best of both worlds!
Amalfi Coast
I had a holiday booked here a couple of years ago, and after the flight company went bust we ended up having to cancel the whole thing as it was pretty last minute. We never ended up rebooking, and I just havenβt felt like braving it with a toddler on my own yet. Itβs the south coast of Italy and is essentially on a cliff, so thereβs a lot of steps involved. Iβm hoping to book a visit when Reuben is maybe a year or two older than he is now, as it just looks like one of the most beautiful locations in the world. The views look incredible.
