My thoughts on the beautiful Italian brand, Guudcureβ¦
Havenβt heard of Guudcure before? Neither had I until a couple of months ago! Guudcure is an Italian skincare brand that has created anti-ageing treatments that are designed to not only combat ageing skin, but to help correct and repair visible damage to the facial skin. The products are set out to keep your skin in the best shape it can possibly be in for a longer period of time. The products target specific areas of the face to restore your natural skin tone, keep it visibly hydrated and deliver a lifting effect. The brand is free from silicones, parabens, sulphates and all that other not-so-good stuff. They aim to promote healthy ageing of the skin that takes into account all of the individual features rather than relying on a one size fits all aproach. Sounds good hey? Letβs find out how I got on with my trio of productsβ¦

Guudcure Age Balance Duo Cleanser/Toner
A double action cleanser? Yes please! As a working mum, some nights I really donβt have time for an extensive skincare routine so the age balance duo cleanser/toner is already in my good books. The double action cleanser & toner cleanses impurities from the face, giving a refreshed and and soothed feeling post-rinse. To use this you apply it to dry skin, massage it in and then simply rinse it off! I like to cleanse mine off with a soft face cloth. Iβm not usually one for a gel cleanser as I donβt like the fact that they donβt really foam up and can often feel quite βstiffβ β however, this one is so silky & soft when applied and I find it cleanses my skin like a dream. It contains soft microbeads full of vitamin-E, so whilst itβs super smooth and sensitive on your face, itβs also gently exfoliating it. I tend to use this after Iβve cleansed my makeup off with a face cloth, to give it a thorough cleanse and my skin honestly feels so refreshed afterwards. You can really sense the fact that itβs both a cleanser and a toner. Iβve found this to be an amazing cleanser for my oily skin too, whilst it leaves my face feeling hydrated it seems to get rid of all excess oils at the same time!

Guudcure Age Regenerating Night Cream
The age regenerating night cream is a silky, light-weight moisturiser thatβs to be used on an evening as part of your night time skincare routine. It contains an enzymatic exfoliant thatβs an alternative to AHAs, it eliminates dead cells which makes the surface of the skin a lot smoother and brighter. Iβve been using this after my evening shower for the past few weeks and I love how it just sinks into my skin post-cleanse. I donβt hate thicker moisturisers, as they can feel quite luxurious compared to more light-weight ones, but sometimes itβs just really nice to apply something with a lighter feeling that sinks straight in. Iβm usually rushing through my evening skincare routine as I tend to bath Reuben more or less at the same time as I shower so Iβm quickly shoving my skincare products on whilst trying to either watch him in the bath, or so that I can get him dressed and sorted for bed! My skin always feels super hydrated after Iβve applied the night cream and it tends to stay that way until morning which is just what you want really, it keeps your skin in ship shape & makes makeup application a dream on a morning. Iβve had really youthful looking skin since I added both this and the cleanser to my evening skincare routine and the redness I usually suffer with has reduced massively. I can honestly say the anti-ageing properties that these products have is working wonders for me!

Guudcure Age Regenerating Bedtime Mask
Last but not least, the final product that Iβve been trying out from Guudcure is the age regenerating bedtime mask, this is essentially a thick cream (it feels a bit like a thick, whipped moisturiser) that you apply to your skin and just leave on all night. Thereβs no rinsing involved, which in my opinion, is the best kind of mask! I donβt know about you but I often forget I even have a face mask on?! Youβre supposed to use this mask twice a week and the aim of it is to brighten and refresh dull and dry skin, whilst giving it lots of hydration. It contains natural butters which add softness and strengthen the skin barrier, recovering natural moisture. Iβve been using this like it says on the tin, twice a week, and I have combination skin so a lot of the time it does tend to get dry if I donβt keep up with hydrating treatments. I wake up with such luminous and silky skin after Iβve had this jar of gold sinking into my skin all night and it actually feels so luxurious to apply. It doesnβt sink in instantly, but you wouldnβt expect that from a mask anyway as itβs not a moisturiser β but within about half an hour you canβt even really tell youβve got it on. My skin is usually almost dry when I get into bed and I can tell that my skin really reaps the benefits of the ingredients overnight. I think this is a definite must-have mask if you suffer from dull & dehydrated skin like I do. Something I havenβt mentioned yet is that all three products have a really subtle vanilla scent and if youβre like me and love sweet scents then you will be obsessed. It makes applying the products all that more lovely!
Overall Iβm super, super impressed with the Guudcure products that Iβve tried out so far and I definitely want to expand my collection and try out more from them. A lot of people are of the belief that if youβre young, you donβt need anti-ageing skincare products and thatβs far from the reality. The earlier you start using them, the better condition your skin will be in when youβre older as youβre helping to protect it from all that ageing it goes through as you get older.
