We’ve been blessed with some gorgeous hot weather recently here in the UK and whilst I’m not one for piling on the makeup on those warm days, I still like to look put together. I picked three Bobbi Brown products this month that are perfect for a five minute Spring look and can be worn alone or with a few other products if you fancy spending a couple more minutes on your face in the morning!
First up is a product that I’ve had before and loved so much, that I had to have it in my routine again – and that is the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick. It’s a medium to full coverage foundation yet keeps my skin looking and feeling like skin whilst covering up all of my imperfections and blemishes. A little of this goes a long way and it’s buildable, so I tend to use less when my skin is clearer and a bit more when I have more redness and blemish outbreaks. I love this foundation for how easy it is to apply, I simply swipe the stick across my skin and then go in with my Bobbi Brown Full Coverage Face Brush which is another fave in my routine. It’s so quick to apply and blends in seamlessly so it’s ideal if you don’t want to spend more than a minute or two on your foundation in the mornings.
I do find I need to set my base whatever the season, and I’m loving using the Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder in the shade ‘Pale Yellow’ for my Spring look. It has a really silky smooth finish yet mattifies the creamy foundation nicely. If you have combination skin and tend to get a little oily in the warmer months like I do, then this is perfect. It doesn’t leave my dry areas too dry yet keeps the oily areas under control nicely and adds a lovely finish to my base.
My last product for this look is the Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint which if you read my beauty posts regularly, you’ll know is a firm favourite of mine. This month I picked the shade ‘Bare Raspberry’ but I also love the shades Bare Melon and Bare Pink. Bare Raspberry is a beautiful pop of fuscia that can be worn lightly or layered up for a more intense colour. I’m wearing it in the photo here layered with the Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil Infused Gloss in the shade ‘Free Spirit’ which is another gorgeous lip product from Bobbi!
These products can be worn alone for a super quick and easy Spring look, or you can spend a bit more time and add in a couple of cheek products. My personal favourites are the Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in the shade ‘Golden Light’ and Pot Rouge in the shade ‘Pale Pink’ – both pair beautifully together!
