It’s Black Friday next week and we all love a good bargain or two, especially when it comes to those expensive beauty purchases – am I right gals? Rather than searching the internet high and low for all the best discounts, I have a little trick up my sleeve, in the form of a brand introduction called Cosmetify. Have you heard of them before? I hadn’t until recently, and let me tell you… it’s a game changer. Olaplex is something that’s been on my wish list for a while now, as my hair has been pretty dry lately due to the amount of bleach I’ve had put through it this year. Tons of you flooded me with messages about how olaplex is the must-have product to cure my hair problems so it’s had a permanent spot on my list since then! I’m so glad that I finally have a bottle in my life so that I can try it out and see if it really works and share the results if it does. It’s quite a pricey hair product for only 100ml so if you also have dry/brittle hair then this might be worth grabbing in the sales whilst you can get a good discount. Bumble & Bumble Thickening Spray
As many of you will probably know, I have quite fine, frizz-prone hair and I’m awful at buying the right products to look after it. I’ve heard fab things about the brand Bumble & Bumble but never actually tried anything from them, so when I saw the Thickening Spray on the Cosmetify website, it caught my eye and I decided to finally try out the brand. It claims to be heat protectant, offers a good hold AND adds more volume. Three things my hair is definitely in need of. You’re supposed to spritz this in post-shower and then dry and style but I’ve used it a couple of times on dry hair and not had any issues. I can’t give it a raving review yet as I’ve only used it twice but I’m excited to see if it helps out my fine locks! Everyone always hypes up Bumble & Bumble so if you’re in need of some good haircare, this would be a fab brand to invest in whilst you can get some money off during the sales.
Origins GinZing Peel Off Mask
If you’re a regular, you might know just how obsessed I’ve been with Origins skincare since last Christmas after trying out one of their gift sets. It was my first time trying their products and I’ve been hooked ever since! I own three of their masks but I’m always wanting to try out more, so I couldn’t resist the opportunity to pick up the GinZing Peel Off Mask – I’ve used it once so far and it was quite intense so I’d be wary if you have sensitive skin! However, every single mask I’ve used from them has always done absolute wonders for my skin problems and this one was no different. My skin felt instantly refreshed by the zingy tingly feeling as it dried down and it really helped get rid of all the ‘gunk’ when peeling it off. Something I find really essential when I’m having a bad skin month. I love the GinZing range as it always makes my skin look so bright and healthy so grab yourself some Origins bargains! Becca Be A Light Face Palette
I don’t own that much from Becca so when I saw the Be A Light Face Palette, I thought it would be a really handy little palette to take on my travels. Admittedly, I didn’t realise it was medium/dark so the shades aren’t that wearable for my light skin tone but if I had got this in the light/medium, it would be perfect – so I’m definitely thinking about picking that one up! It’s a gorgeous palette and for darker skinned gals this is ideal as the blush and highlight in it are both so pigmented and beautiful. I’ve been using the bronzing shade as a contour colour and I find that works really well for me, I can also use the other shades as eyeshadows rather than powder/blush/highlight so all is not lost! Becca always kill it with their powders and highlighters and if you love the brand then this little gem is worth a buy.
Origins GinZing Gel Moisturiser
The Origins GinZing Moisturiser is one of my holy grail moisturisers, it just leaves my skin so hydrated, brightened and doesn’t accentuate my oily t-zone in the slightest. I still have my other pot of this but because it’s such an essential in my daily routine, I thought that it was worth picking another pot up. I was going to pick up some Origins skincare this black friday anyway as they’re a more high-end skincare brand but by far one of my absolute favourites so it’s well worth it when their products are so heavily discounted. I’d definitely recommend this moisturiser if you have combination skin like mine, it’s incredible!
