Bobbi Browns new Luxe Shine Intense Lipstick Collection is one of my new favourite formulas, as you all know I’m a big fan of a full colour, long-wearing lipstick that isn’t drying. I suffer with really dry lips so I tend to avoid anything drying – particularly liquid lipsticks. However, I can’t be without a good lipstick so a semi-matte, satin kinda formula is what I’m all about. The Bobbi Brown Luxe Shine Intense Lipsticks are rich in colour but also hydration, so they fit the bill perfectly! The formula contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin E making them glide onto your lips like a dream, whilst hydrating them instantly as well as throughout the day.

The new luxe shine intense lipstick range contains 13 shades in total, and there’s everything from the perfect nude, to the perfect pop of red for the upcoming party season. The lipsticks are the perfect shape to to glide along the lips shaping them as they apply colour – something I find super useful as I have naturally thin lips. The pigmentation is something else too, for such a creamy product, you have a full colour payoff in one swipe! Obsessed.
Whilst the formula is incredibly creamy and hydrating, these stay in place pretty much all day long, I get a bit of transfer and need to reapply after eating but that’s only to be expected with a formula that isn’t completely matte. I’d rather that than have my lips dried out any day! We all carry our lipstick around don’t we?! The beauty of these is that it’s a lipstick that’s so easy to use, so therefore you don’t even really need a mirror to reapply. Definitely a winner with me.
Not only are the 13 colours in the range, each totally beautiful, but the packaging is too! How luxe do they look encased in their gorgeous gold tubes. With the bolder shades, you can still see a slight tint even after removing makeup, so that tells you a lot about the pigmentation and staying power doesn’t it?! The hydration they provide makes them the perfect winter companion and I will be utilising all 13 shades, there’s something for every occasion here and I can’t wait to play around with them more. Usually in winter I would wear a lip balm underneath my lipsticks as my lips just can’t take it otherwise but we’re already in November and I haven’t felt the need to do that once whilst wearing these. I honestly can’t rave about them enough, the formula has just been perfected to a T. They also have a bit of a shine as they have a semi-matte finish so if you’re looking to add a bit of glow to your dull complexion over A/W then you’re covered here!
