As most of you know, I work with Bobbi Brown regularly and I have built such a gorgeous collection of both their skincare and makeup. I select three products that I’d like each month and they always end up becoming firm favourites in my routine. I thought that I’d share three staples from them that I think are must-haves in any girls routine. I’ve got a mix of both skincare and makeup so either way, if you’re into the more natural look or like to play around with your makeup – these are still three products that I’d highly recommend adding to your stash!
Vitamin Enriched Face Base
I talk about Bobbi’s Vitamin Enriched Face Base all the time because I really am that obsessed with it. It’s one of their best-sellers and it’s not hard to see why. I use this every single day in my routine and I honestly don’t think I could live without it now. It’s a moisturiser and primer in one and it’s so thick, creamy and luxurious. A tiny bit goes a long way so a pot of this lasts you ages. Despite it being quite thick, it’s not greasy in the slightest and it just melts into my skin leaving it so hydrated and soft, whilst also looking incredibly glowy and healthy. It’s the perfect base for underneath makeup, but I also use it when I’m not wearing any as it’s perfect for my dehydrated skin. It contains Vitamin B5, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid, so all of the good stuff that your skin needs. I find most products that contain Vitamin C work wonders for my skin anyway, but this one really does work a treat and leaves my skin looking glorious.
Creamy Concealer Kit
I love the Creamy Concealer Kit from Bobbi Brown as it’s so handy to own things like this where you get a concealer and a powder in one. They’re great for throwing in your handbag to have with you at all times, as well as for travelling with (not that any of us are doing much of that at the moment!). As a mum, I know for one that it’s much easier to have a small everyday makeup bag with as few products as possible to make it super quick and easy. This is one of those products that I just feel is essential as there’s no faffing about with a separate concealer and powder. Every shade of the concealer comes with a pale yellow powder apart from the shade ‘Porcelain’ that comes with a white powder. I have the shade ‘Warm Ivory’ and I love how it covers all of my redness and blemishes whilst blending in beautifully and leaving my skin looking natural. The powder sets it perfectly too and it’s definitely a must-have little duo for those with busy lifestyles!
Extra Lip Tint
The first time I ever tried Bobbi’s Extra Lip Tint was when I had a skincare trial at one of their counters inside John Lewis. I fell in love with as it’s essentially a tinted lip balm that looks just like a lipstick. I can’t go a day without lip balm as my lips get so incredibly dry, and the extra lip tint means that I can moisturise my lips whilst also adding a gorgeous hint of colour to them. I have two of these in ‘Bare Pink’ which is a beautiful shade of light pink that looks a bit like you’re wearing a pink nude lipstick. I keep one in my makeup drawer and one in my car/handbag as I’m always reapplying throughout the day/after eating etc! I’m so obsessed with them. I also have one in the shade ‘Bare Melon’ which is a coral shade and is ideal for the Spring months, I’ll get so much wear out of it over the Summer too. I just think these are a must have as they can be worn with or without makeup and keep your lips in ship shape whilst also making you look a bit more put together.
