January’s Cohorted Beauty Box…
Cohorted is a Luxury Beauty Box monthly subscription that features a selection of beauty must haves, hand-picked by them. The products arrive in a simple but beautiful black box that is tied together with a pretty black bow. The subscription is £35 a month with free p&p which is a bargain considering what you may receive inside, the February edition is valued at £90. I received the *January Edition Beauty Box and I was pleasantly surprised by what was inside, as there were two Too Faced products which is my all time favourite brand! I really love the idea of this box as each month you’ll receive a selection of luxury beauty products for a smaller price than buying them individually, what more could a girl want?! I’m going to do a quick review on each of the products that came inside the box as I love them all.
Too Faced Lip Injection Colour Bomb in ‘Never Enough Nude’
This is a really moisturising lip plumper that smells so good, it’s like sweets. The nude shade is lovely and sheen and perfect for everyday wear if you want something quite natural and not too bold. You get a slight tingle when applied, of course due to the lip plumping effect but it’s barely noticeable. I did notice a different in my lips but nothing too major so again, perfect for a natural look.
Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in ‘Carrie & Big’
This is a bronzer combined with a blusher aimed to add a warmth with a pop of colour to the cheeks. It’s very warm toned and I don’t think it’s a good contour shade at all like it says but it’s perfect for bronzing during the summer time. It applies really sheen so it’s perfect if you don’t like anything too heavy so you can build it up.
Lancome Professional Concealer Palette
I wasn’t really a fan of this due to the light concealer shade being too pink toned for my skin, but I still gave it a test and the concealers are very creamy and blend in well. It covered my dark under eye circles very well too so I’m sure if I’d had the right shade I would have got on really well with this!
Cargo Lip Gloss Quad in ‘Casablanca’
I’m not usually a fan of lip gloss but these lip glosses are incredibly creamy and not sticky whatsoever. I really like how they apply and when they’re as smooth and creamy as this they’re a winner! I think I’ll get quite a lot of use out of this quad, I really love the dark nude shade.
